Occupational therapy is essentially a science-based practice in health and social care, which supports people to be able to do what(occupations) matter to them.
Occupations are an essential part of a person’s daily life. They help to shape who we are as individuals.
We look at your conditions, and if this is impacting your ability to complete these occupations, we use our understanding of the condition to help figure out ways of being able to do the task to the best of your ability or identify where help or support may be required.
Occupations can include, but are not limited to:
Self-care - washing and dressing, grooming, toileting, showering, sleeping, and cooking.
work/ life balance- balancing roles( household and work), adding excercise into routine.
Transitions support- after illness, new diagnosis, returning to work/ education, motherhood, peri menopause/ menopause and retirement.
Social- supporting in accessing the community, whether through environmental adaptations and support, social skill development or mobility training.

PMOS is complex, and it touches every part of daily life. It affects hw you feel, how you function, and how you see yourself. Yet many people with PMOS are left without the holistic support they need.
I specialise in PMOS because:
People deserve care that goes beyond symptoms
Occupational therapy is uniquely placed to support the functional and emotional impact of PMOS
My lived experience gives me genuine empathy and understanding
My clinical strengths naturally align with the needs of this community
This is the work that feels most meaningful and energised to me
Supporting people with PMOS is not just a job to me, it’s the work I feel most connected to.
I do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or dietary prescriptions.
I work alongside- not instead of GPs, endocrinologists and dieticians.
-
I offer a range of occupational therapy-based services.
My core service is offering Occupational therapy assessments to people with a diagnosis of PMOS. We do not discriminate against gender, and those who do not identify as female will also be seen and provided with the same level of care and respect.
Limited services:
I also provide supervision to those on the Sensory Integration Education modular pathway. ( Numbers are limited per year and module.)
I provide 1:1 or group work around interoception using Kelly Mahlers interoception curriculum.
I provide pelvic health support in relation to those who have issues such as bloating and constipation, which is common with people with a pmos diagnosis.
-
I am not a personal trainer, nutritionist, or coach- I am a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. I combine my training in mental health, sensory integration, pelvic health foundations, physical rehab, and PMOS-informed care to support your whole life, not just one part of it . My work is trauma informed, evidence based, and focused on helping you make sustainable chnages that fit your real routines, roles and wellbeing.
